A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide specialized support to pre-school and elementary-aged students in a vibrant educational setting located in Detroit, MI. This contractual position offers the opportunity to work onsite, directly contributing to students speech and language development within a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in pre-school through elementary grades.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment outcomes.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support students communication goals.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy strategies as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to intervention planning.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure allowing practice as an SLP in a school setting.
- Experience working with pre-school and elementary students in educational environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Contract Duration and Hours:
